My Impact

Established a product framework using user research

I conducted more than fifteen user interviews, which provided insight into the various departments' workflows and standardized patterns and interactions with the product to guarantee that it evolves in response to user needs.

Streamlined brand consistency and enhanced user experience across 2 of the 3 products

Prioritized accessibility and finding disparities in the user experience among the various product platforms to ensure that the brand remains consistent throughout the digital ecosystem.

Learnings

Creating prototypes and mockups is very helpful when initially sharing to stakeholders

I was able to improve communication and enunciate my points regarding timeliness, design specifications, and feasibility to the various team members through sharing prototype demos and visual references.

Expand your network as a designer and engage with members beyond the team

At Bluecat, I had the great fortune to work with a wide range of individuals in a variety of roles, such as team lead, customer care, solution architect, enterprise support engineers, etc. Having conversations with people who have varying user experiences not only promotes cross-functional collaboration but also guarantees that design choices are in line with the organization's overarching strategy.
